Homeless Women
During her career, Roth has completed many important photographic essays. In the 1970s she brought her heart and camera to the plight of homeless women living on the streets of New York and produced her first book on Shopping Bag Ladies of New York. Her second photo essay focused on Maggie and Marcia, two women living in Central Park. In the 2000’s she captures the activism of those working on issues related to women and housing and homelessness.
